Flat cut acrylic shapes are available:
in different thicknesses of acrylic
in different colours
with or without plastic locators
with or without a template
we may decide to CNC or laser cut the shapes, depending on thickness and size.
Laser cutting shapes automatically produces polished edges (like flame polishing).
CNC cut shapes are unpolished. PLEASE ENQUIRE if you need to know how your shapes will be cut, or if you need to ensure that you have polished edges to your shapes.
PLEASE NOTE that CNC cut shapes will always have a small radius on inside corners, due to the cutting tool being of circular cross-section. The size of the radius will vary with the tool used. lease ask if you need more information about this.
FINISHING
Clear acrylic shapes will be flame polished, unless you request otherwise
Coloured acrylic shapes cannot be flame polished, so will be mopped where possible (ie where the edges are accessible, dependant on the shape)
